Great place to stay. We will be back!

Love the cappuccino machine in the lobby and the suggestions the staff made for dinner were excellent! It was nice to have robes in our room since we had to pack light!

Second time at Le Marceau Bastille, that confirmed my first good impression. The room was very comfy and clean and the staff friendly and professional. My favourite place for a night at the opera.

A lovely hotel with kind and friendly staff

The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable, with excellent facilities. The staff were all very helpful, courteous and friendly, and the hotel was well-situated in terms of other restaurants, access to transport, etc. The breakfast provided a wide variety of different tastes.

Although there appeared to be provision for room service meals, the actual availability and choice was quite restricted.

Can't do better for location, and overall atmosphere. Fabulous bed, really comfortable, and really quiet room. My go to accomodation when visiting Paris.

Well, ok shower head, but hairdryer needs reviewed.

Exceptional

Marceau Bastille is probably my favorite hotel in Paris. I found my room to be spacious (especially by Paris standards). The soaking tub was an unexpected blessing. The location is second to none. MB is on a quiet street only a block away from great restaurants, a pharmacy and a supermarket. There are train stations and metro stations only a short walk from the hotel. I found the staff to be particularly outgoing. The receptionist who helped us when we checked in made sure we could get food sent to our room after a late check in; Kevin at the front desk helped us out every morning with directions and advice.

Fantastic stay, would happily return!

Clean spacious room, great breakfast and pleasant staff who couldnt do enough to help!

A proper bar area would have been nice but lots in the area so not end of the world.

Great location, comfortable and fab breakfast, and cold water.

Breakfast was great. Room was clean and beds comfortable. The location was perfect. 5 minutes to Bastille train station and easy to get to overland trains.

A great place to stay in Paris

The hotel is well-located, about 4 blocks from a Metro station and within a ten minute walk to the Seine and the RER (suburban train). The staff was uniformly wonderful - assisting us with tickets and places to eat. (We had been to Paris several times before, so had no need of help with sightseeing.) Breakfast was very good and, when my wife found the giant bowl of Nutella, she was all set! There is a pharmacy on the corner and a supermarket less than two blocks away. Note to travelers: There is a great transportation pass called the Navigo Découverte. It's good on the Metro, RER and busses from any Monday through Sunday and costs only 35 Euros. Definitely worth the price.

The rooms were small - not a problem for staying, but it made storing our two 26 inch suitcases a problem. The staff offered to keep them in a storage room, but we were only there for three nights (coming from Italy) and didn't want to unpack again.

A hidden gem, great access and very comfortable

The location is fantastic, less than 15 minutes from a metro or rer in either direction. There are lots of lovely cafes around (Quai 31) being one of them. The hotel is very well maintained with a bright decor scheme and spacious rooms. We were room 201, overlooking the courtyard, breakfast was very good and tasty

There is nothing to dislike in my view

Everything about our stay was wonderful!

The staff were all excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding, anything you would want was there.

A bit pricey, but maybe because of the event going on in the city.

The perfect vacation stay

The staff was amazing! Kevin and Claudia were so helpful and effervescent. They even made sure we had taxis that got us to our destinations on time. The rooms were amazing and the bed was nearly as comfortable as our temperpdic. Just fantastic. Also our location was excellent and the sites we visited easy to get to. The unforeseen sites we took in because of our location made it even better.

We both didn't like the fact we had to leave. We had to miss the breakfasts

Great location. The room was good. Close to Metro and Gare de Lyon. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The Coulee verte is great for a morning and/or evening walk, didn't even know it existed.
